It's a great morning to get married!
On a beautiful Saturday in September, I got to help make a wedding special for our wonderful couple, Ashley and Reese. One might think that the timeline of every wedding is the same - ceremony at 5:00 PM, dinner at 7:00 PM, but this one had a twist: the ceremony started at 8:45 AM.
Now I know what your thinking, "That's so early!", but believe it or not, morning weddings are quite great and there is still so much you can do with them!
But first, coffee
One of things that Ashley and Reese did, which I thought was genius, is hire a barista and rent a coffee bar. Hive Coffee Co. did an amazing job from pouring drip coffee to iced lattes sweetened with any flavored syrup you could want. Guests loved this addition, and it woke everyone up to get on the dance floor!
In addition to an awesome coffee bar, TCP Catering provided guests with a juice bar and a breakfast buffet with everyones' favorite, chicken and waffles. Definitely a must have if you are planning on an early wedding.
The Venue
Ashley and Reese chose to tie the knot at a gorgeous wedding venue, Brighton Abbey. Brighton Abbey is located in Aubrey, Texas, just north west of Frisco, Texas.
Our team enjoyed working with the staff of Brighton Abbey, as well as we loved the lay out and the attention to detail of this venue. Definitely one of my favorites, and would recommend for any engaged couple.
The venue has a separate ceremony space that resembles a glass chapel - perfect for couples who may want a chapel look without having to worry about having the ceremony at a separate location. This space was marvelous in the morning sun!
The reception space was also wonderful as it had a lot of natural light, and Ashley and Reese's gold and black theme looked stark against the white walls and light colored flooring - absolutely stunning.
